Outdoor Exercise - Twin Falls, Idaho
A great way to get in shape in the summer and enjoy the beauty that Idaho has to offer is to walk the Snake River Canyon grade that leads to Centennial Park in Twin Falls, Idaho. The grade from the bottom to the top is about a mile at a high incline. Its a guarantee for burning legs! About half way up the first grade is a man-made hiking trail that leads up to the large rock formation overlooking the Snake River. The view from the top is breathtaking.
A mile uphill too much? There is a small parking area before the second grade, start there and work your way towards climbing the whole thing! I like to park at the bottom, that way I can push myself to get to the top and have a nice cool down time on the way back down. Watch out for cars and remember to always walk against the flow of traffic (on the left side of the road) and cycle with traffic (on the right side of the road).
