Mary Alice Park - Twin Falls

Camouflaged by vine covered fences and hidden among the mom-and-pop shops of Main Street, Mary Alice Park in downtown Twin Falls is easily overlooked. This adorable urban park is so worth planning a trip to. Once inside it's truly like stepping into a scene from Alice in Wonderland.
The park is filled with brightly colored flowers, activities, sitting areas and more that promotes creativity, imagination, and hands-on learning. The creator and artist of the park, Art Hoag can often be found walking around and chatting with patrons.
The park may be little but it is packed with interesting things to do and interact with. There is a putting green, giant checkers, giant chess, a sand pit, wooden castle, art sculptures, wall murals, bikes, big wheels, music, outdoor seating, shade trees and so much more.
Mary Alice Park is open every day from 7:30am - 8pm and is located at 436 Main Ave North in Twin Falls. The gates are locked at 8pm to keep all of the wonderful art and toys safe at night. I especially love that not only does the foliage and fences provide a separation between the park and the busy road outside, but it also makes the park feel safer for kids with one way in and one way out.
